Some Dance Screen Fest (SDSF) is a bi-annual Dance Film Festival, presented by P.L.A.C.E. Performance which features local, regional and international short dance video works (between 3-12 min) in various dance styles. The event will take place on December 17, 2022, at our proposed venue, The Box theater, located in downtown Riverside. The event will have an in-person screening of featured works and a virtual screening for increased accessibility.
P.L.A.C.E. Performance is an all volunteer organization made up of local artists. We honor our commitment to local dancers and choreographers through performance programming, free monthly classes and a dance film Mentorship Program. We are dedicated to providing performance opportunities for local, emerging choreographers and dancers utilizing non-traditional spaces with the intention of strengthening community bonds through the shared experience of dance and performance art.
